Low-altitude flights are scheduled for Tuesday morning in Nicosia, in anticipation of the October 1 parade.
Specifically, the General Staff of the National Guard informs the public that on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m., low-altitude aircraft flyovers will take place over Nicosia, as part of rehearsals for the military parade marking the 66th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Cyprus on October 1.
