A weak low-pressure system is affecting the region, while a disturbance from the west is expected to affect the island starting Sunday evening.
Tonight, there will be intermittent periods of increased cloud cover in some areas. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast and locally up to southeast, light, at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 18 degrees inland, around 20 degrees on the coast, and around 9 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow, the weather will be partly cloudy, and scattered showers are expected after noon, mainly in the mountains. Winds will be light to moderate from the southwest to northwest, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and will gradually become locally moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be initially calm to slightly rough and later slightly rough in the windward areas. Temperatures will rise to around 30 degrees inland, on the southern and eastern coasts, around 28 on the western and northern coasts, and around 22 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow evening, local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, initially in the west and north and gradually spreading to other parts of the island; hail is also possible. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, with occasional local gusts reaching moderate to strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort. During thunderstorms, winds will shift and intensify. The sea will be slightly rough to rough.
On Monday, the weather will be mostly cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected at times.Afternoon precipitation will be concentrated mainly in the mountainous areas and the eastern half of the island. Hail cannot be ruled out during thunderstorms. Winds will gradually pick up significantly, particularly in coastal areas exposed to the wind.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy, and especially after noon, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected, mainly in the mountains and inland areas.
Temperatures on Monday will drop slightly, while on Tuesday and Wednesday they will remain largely unchanged, hovering just below average.
