A relative of the 46-year-old mother of three broke his silence, who is fighting for her life after being shot by her police officer husband in Limassol.

It is the 46-year-old woman’s son-in-law, who, in a public post on social media, addressed the inaccuracies and speculation circulating about the family tragedy in Zakaki.

Speaking about the 46-year-old, he stated that she is alive and fighting the biggest battle of her life, with her family by her side every minute, believing that she will pull through.

“Whatever is being written about financial problems, third parties, or other matters does not correspond to reality. Please stop creating scenarios about a family that is currently struggling to stay afloat. Only we know what we went through inside our home. For many years, my mother lived a reality filled with psychological abuse, fear, and control. Behind the image the world saw was a woman who was tormented and endured far more than you know. We’re not asking anyone to take sides. We’re only asking for respect. Respect for our mother, who is currently fighting for her life. Respect for us, her children, who are trying to cope with a tragedy that no child should ever have to experience.”

In his appeal, he urged the public to stop speculating and let the authorities do their job.

I want to say a few words because I see a lot of inaccuracies and speculation circulating.
