A seasonal low-pressure system is affecting the region. Today, after the local low-level cloud cover and patchy fog or mist clear, the weather in most parts of the island will be mostly clear with temporarily increased cloud cover. However, around noon and afterward, clouds developing in the mountainous areas may bring isolated showers. Winds will initially be variable and light, at 3 Beaufort, before soon becoming mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and gradually along the coast, moderate to strong and temporarily locally strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be generally slightly rough, although initially in the southeast and east it will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will reach around 37 degrees inland, around 29 on the western and southwestern coasts, around 32 degrees along the rest of the coast, and around 30 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear, though locally increased low cloud cover will gradually develop. Later, during the early morning hours, patchy fog or mist is expected to form in some areas, mainly in the east and inland regions. Winds will initially blow from the southwest to the northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, but they will gradually weaken and become downslope and locally variable, light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become generally calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 22 degrees inland and along the coast, and to around 18 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the weather in most parts of the island will be mostly clear with occasional increased cloud cover, while during the midday hours and afterward, clouds building up in the mountains are expected to bring isolated showers.
Temperatures through Monday are not expected to change significantly, remaining slightly above normal levels for this time of year.
