The Department of Forests announces that, due to the large number of people heading to forest areas for the Feast of the Assumption, it is informing the public that:
Within the boundaries of the Paphos Forest District, there is availability at the recreational areas of Mavralis, Timis, Komitizis, Xystarouda, Pykni, Agios Merkourios, Smigies, Monasielaka, Agia, Pera Vasa, Ranti, Stavros Psokas, and Livadi.

Within the boundaries of the Troodos Forest District, there is availability at the following recreational areas: Livadi Plain, Mesa Potamou, Fraktis tou Xyliatou, Pasia Livadi, Armyrolivado, Kambi tou Kalogirou, Agia Paraskevi, Kakomallis, Kapoura, Fraktis tou Prodromou, Marathos, and Xerarkaka.
Within the boundaries of the Nicosia, Larnaca, and Famagusta Forest Regions, recreational areas are available at Mandra tou Kampiou, Delikipos, Kornos, Oroklini, Rizolia National Forest Park, Achnas Forest, Agios Antonios, Agios Nikandros, and Athalassa Parks.
