On the orders of Mr. Stavros Panikos, Deputy Chief of Police, three police officers, aged 36, 43, and 44, were placed on administrative leave today.
They are under investigation for an assault resulting in actual bodily harm, which is alleged to have been committed in the early hours of August 13, 2026, in Paphos.

It should be noted that at the time of the incident, the three police officers were off duty. The case is being investigated by the Paphos Criminal Investigation Department.
