The Paphos City and District Fire Stations were mobilized following a fire that broke out in an area between the communities of Natas and Anarita.
According to the Fire Department, three fully staffed fire trucks were dispatched to extinguish the blaze. The fire broke out in two separate locations, with the first burning approximately four decaria and the second approximately three decaria of dry grass and stubble.
A fire truck from the Forestry Department and a portable firefighting unit from the Game and Wildlife Service also assisted in the firefighting operation.
The fire has been brought under control, and its cause is being investigated in cooperation with the police.
