The Forestry Department informs the public that tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21, 2026, the risk of forest fires breaking out and spreading will be at the “RED ALERT” level.
It is emphasized that, causing a fire, in accordance with the Forestry Law and the Law on the Prevention and Extinction of Fires in Open Areas, constitutes a criminal offense punishable by severe penalties.

We strongly urge the public to exercise extreme caution during outdoor excursions and to completely avoid any actions or activities that could potentially cause a fire.
Finally, if anyone notices smoke or a fire, they are asked to call 1407 (Forest Service) or 112 (Fire Department) immediately.
