There have been new developments in the case of the brutal beating of a 16-year-old that took place on Friday in the Latsia area, with police arresting seven individuals.
According to the police, the suspects are between the ages of 15 and 21, and the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department is continuing its investigation into the case.

The seven detainees will be brought before the Nicosia District Court tomorrow morning for a hearing on the issuance of detention orders.

It should be noted that the complaint was filed on Sunday afternoon by the victim’s father, and following the brutal incident, the minor was taken to a clinic where he was examined by a doctor and found to have bruises and contusions on various parts of his body, as well as a fractured nasal bone.
The attending physicians determined that hospitalization was not necessary, and after he received first aid, he was discharged.
It should be noted that the majority of the perpetrators appear to be between the ages of 15 and 17.
