A serious traffic accident occurred thirty minutes after midnight in Trachoni, when, under circumstances that are under investigation, a 14-year-old boy riding an electric scooter collided with the rear of a parked car.
The 14-year-old was initially taken to Limassol General Hospital and then to Nicosia General Hospital, where he underwent medical examinations.

Among other things, it was determined that he had suffered an epidural hematoma, and he was kept for further observation.
He was subsequently transferred to Makarios Hospital, where he will remain under observation and receive treatment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The 14-year-old’s condition is described as stable.
The Episkopi Police Station is continuing its investigation.
