A 77-year-old man is in serious condition after a traffic accident that occurred yesterday afternoon in Paphos.
Specifically, around 6:30 p.m., the 77-year-old was driving his vehicle on Vasileos Stasiokou Avenue when, under circumstances that are under investigation, he lost control of his car; after veering off the road, he struck the wall of a house and came to a stop.

The 77-year-old was initially transported by ambulance to Polis Chrysochous Hospital; however, due to the severity of his condition, he was transferred to Paphos General Hospital, where he underwent surgery. His condition is considered serious by his attending physicians. The Polis Chrysochous Police Station is continuing its investigation.
