At around 4:00 a.m., a fire broke out at a motorcycle and vehicle rental shop in the Protaras area of the Famagusta district.
Police officers arrived at the scene to investigate, along with members of the Fire Department, who extinguished the fire.
The fire destroyed a number of four-wheeled motorcycles and buggy-type vehicles.
Preliminary investigations conducted so far by police indicate evidence of arson.
The scene was cordoned off to allow the police and the Fire Department to conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. The Famagusta Criminal Investigation Department is investigating.
