The Fire Department was called to rescue two foreign cyclists in Larnaca.
According to Fire Department Spokesperson Andreas Kettis, the two cyclists were found trapped in a muddy canal.
Fire stations in Larnaca responded to the scene with a rescue team and a rescue vehicle.
The two cyclists were freed using rescue equipment.
It should be noted that one person was transported to the Emergency Department of Larnaca Hospital by ambulance, while the other is in good health.
The circumstances surrounding how they became trapped in the canal are under investigation.
