Plasma removal machines were found at one of the two medical centers mentioned in a letter from the Department of Medical Services, dated September 14, 2026, which was received yesterday, Tuesday, by the police, with the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department investigating, in cooperation with Medical Services, whether the operation of these machines violates relevant legislation.
Speaking to CNA, the head of the Larnaca CID, George Charalambous, confirmed receipt of the relevant correspondence and the letter.

As he noted, an initial meeting has taken place, and an investigative team has been formed, which will proceed in the coming days to investigate the matters raised in the letter.
The investigation will be conducted in collaboration with Medical Services, as well as in conjunction with the findings of the investigation that followed a 2023 letter regarding the same medical center.
