A protest march organized by Direct Democracy against high electricity prices is currently underway.
The protesters gathered at 4:00 p.m. at Eleftheria Square in Nicosia and will march to the Presidential Palace, where the protest will take place, demanding immediate measures to reduce the cost of electricity.

Representatives from AKEL, the Ecologists’ Movement, the Cyprus Animal Party, and the Pancyprian Association of Low-Income Pensioners are participating in the protest.
