A weak high-pressure system is beginning to temporarily affect the region. Today, the weather in most parts of the island will be mostly clear with occasional increased cloud cover, while in the mountainous areas, clouds developing after noon may bring isolated showers. Winds will blow mainly from the northwest to the northeast, and along the southwest and west coasts from the southwest to the northwest, generally light to moderate, 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 28 degrees inland and along the coast, and around 19 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tonight, the weather will be generally clear, although locally along the coast there will be increased low cloud cover. Winds will continue to blow mainly from the northwest to the northeast, light at 3 Beaufort and, in some areas, temporarily moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain generally calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will drop to around 16 degrees inland, around 18 degrees along the coast, and around 9 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
On Friday and Saturday, the weather will be mostly clear, though increased local cloud cover will occur at times.
On Sunday, there will be increased local cloud cover at times, which may result in isolated light showers.
Temperatures will gradually rise through Saturday, reaching levels close to and slightly above the seasonal average.
