The victim of the violent attack at a construction site in Limassol is undergoing surgery, and his condition is described as serious but stable.
It should be noted that the incident occurred at a construction site in the Moutagiakas area shortly before 8 a.m., when the perpetrator and the victim, both of Georgian origin, got into a heated argument, and at somepoint, one of them, aged 47, grabbed a construction tool (a drywall cutter) and injured the 44-year-old victim in the arm and abdomen.
The two men were coworkers and were working at the same construction site; however, the cause of the violent incident is currently under investigation.

However, a third person—an eyewitness—was present at the scene during the violent altercation and has provided a statement to the police detailing exactly what happened.

It should be noted that the perpetrator fled the scene on foot immediately after the attack and is currently wanted by the police.
