Deep mourning for 37-year-old Konstantinos, who passed away at the Famagusta General Hospital.

The unfortunate 37-year-old had become trapped among rocks on Sunday, prompting the fire department to rush to the scene and launch a rescue operation.

After being freed, he was transported to Famagusta General Hospital, where he was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.

However, he succumbed to his injuries on Monday afternoon.

As announced by Kyriakos Mavris, Deputy Mayor of Pano Polemidia, the funeral of 37-year-old Konstantinos Nikolaou will take place on Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Cross in Pano Polemidia, followed by burial at the Pano Polemidia B Cemetery.

The family requests that, in lieu of wreaths, donations be made to support the family.

The Deputy Mayor and the members of the municipal council of the Pano Polemidia district extend their sincere condolences to the family.
