Torrential rains occurring around 2:30 p.m. are affecting traffic on the Nicosia-Limassol highway, on the section between the areas of Tseri and Pera Chorio Nisou and Kornou.

Due to the rain, visibility for passing drivers is limited, and in some sections of the highway, water is pooling and accumulating, making the road surface slippery.

The police advise drivers to exercise caution; they are urged to drive safely at low speeds, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead, and keep their headlights on.
