Thessaloniki Konstantinidi, an 82-year-old woman from Limassol, who had been hospitalized in critical condition at a private clinic in Limassol following a traffic accident.
Specifically, the unfortunate woman was injured in a traffic accident that occurred on August 4, 2026, in Limassol, when a car driven by a 79-year-old man on Xirokampou Street in Limassol—with Konstantinidi as the front-seat passenger and an 84-year-old woman in the back seat— under circumstances currently under investigation by the police, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a metal railing at an adjacent property.
The three occupants of the car were transported to a private hospital in Limassol, where the 82-year-old woman was admitted to the intensive care unit in critical condition, while the other two were admitted to the orthopedic and surgical departments for treatment. The Limassol Traffic Police are continuing their investigation.
