A never-ending tragedy in occupied Kyrenia…
The two bodies recovered yesterday from the deadly shipwreck involving the ill-fated catamaran off the coast of occupied Kyrenia have been identified.
According to Turkish Cypriot media, they are Şerife Özdemir and Nazmiye Özbolat.

Rest in peace, Şerife Özdemir and Nazmiye Özbolat.
The two women recovered from the wreck this morning have been formally identified, and their families have been notified.

In a statement, the so-called prime minister of the pseudo-state, Ünal Ustel, said that the victims’ families have been notified.
“Following the identification process, it was confirmed that the number of victims of the accident stands at 12, while the number of missing persons stands at 16. We pray for God’s mercy upon the deceased and express our condolences, as well as our support, to their families and loved ones who are mourning.”
Meanwhile, search operations in the area of the shipwreck to locate the missing are in full swing.
