A tragedy involving a 28-year-old man occurred in Nicosia.

According to information available so far, the 28-year-old was found unconscious at noon on Tuesday in Solomos Square.

An ambulance was called to the scene and transported the 28-year-old to the hospital.

Despite the efforts of medical personnel to keep him alive, the 28-year-old died a few hours later.

The legally mandated autopsy on his body is expected to shed light on the exact causes of his death, with the police investigating the case as a sudden death.
