Tragedy in Pegeia, where a 52-year-old worker lost his life.
Specifically, around 2:30 p.m. today, in an area of Pegeia where concrete was being poured at a construction site under construction, under circumstances that are under investigation, the boom of the pump being used to pour ready-mix concrete severed two overhead power lines.

During the incident, Konstantinos Posnagkof, 52, from Georgia, who was working at the site, was injured and transported to Paphos General Hospital, where he died.
The police, in cooperation with the Labor Inspection Department, are investigating.
