Yesterday, police arrested a 46-year-old man in the Paphos district in connection with an ongoing investigation into the illegal possession of property.
Specifically, as part of the process of gathering and evaluating evidence, members of the Paphos Police Department conducted a search of the 46-year-old’s residence yesterday afternoon, pursuant to a court warrant. During the search, a large number of power tools were located and seized, for which the 46-year-old was unable to provide adequate explanations.

The 46-year-old was arrested on the spot for the offense of unlawful possession of property and was taken into custody for police questioning.

The suspect was brought before the Paphos District Court today, which issued a six-day detention order against him.
The Pegeia Police Station is continuing its investigation.
