Members of the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Special Operations Unit (OPU) arrested two individuals, aged 20 and 36, this morning, in connection with a shooting that took place last June targeting a company in Limassol.
Specifically, on June 3, 2026, around 7:30 a.m., a building cleaning employee discovered damage to the glass railing on the balcony of the company’s offices.
Subsequent investigations revealed that around 4:20 a.m. on the same day, two unidentified individuals riding a motorcycle approached the building, and after the passenger fired several shots at the building, they fled the scene.
It should be noted that CCTV footage obtained by Alpha captured the moment when the motorcycle’s passenger “sprayed” the offices with a semi-automatic Uzi-type firearm.
The two suspects were brought before the Limassol District Court today, which issued a detention order for a period of eight days.
The Limassol CID is continuing its investigation.
