An alarm was raised with the authorities early Monday morning after a report was received around 2:20 a.m. of a fire at a car rental office in Larnaca.
Members of the police and the fire department arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire.

Outside the premises were three cars that sustained damage—the value of which is unknown at this time — while inside the property, an electric bicycle and personal belongings of the 52-year-old property owner were destroyed.

Further investigations into the exact causes of the fire will be conducted this morning by the Police, the Fire Department, and the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department.
The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department is investigating the case.
