Heavy rainfall occurring around 2:00 p.m., in the Pera Chorio Nisou area, is affecting traffic on the road network, particularly on the Nicosia-Limassol Highway, where visibility for passing drivers is limited and the road surface is slippery due to flowing and pooling water at various points.
The Police advise drivers to be especially cautious, to drive at a safe, low speeds, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead, and keep their headlights on.
