Pieces believed to belong to the sunken catamaran in Kyrenia have begun washing ashore.
According to the Turkish Cypriot newspaper Yeni Bakis, pieces of the ill-fated vessel have reportedly—as seen in the video—been washed ashore on a beach in Lapithos.
It should be noted that earlier, as reported by the occupying authorities, the Turkish ships that arrived in Cyprus to locate and reach the sunken catamaran at a depth of 550 meters have located it, with operations currently in full swing.
So far, eight people have lost their lives in the shipwreck, while 20 remain missing.
Meanwhile, fishermen continue to find various items in the Vasileia-Orga sea area, such as clothing, shoes, and other items.
