Here is the detailed forecast for the coming days:
The unstable air mass affecting the region will subside starting Thursday.
In the afternoon, developing clouds are expected to bring local showers and isolated thunderstorms in the mountains, inland, and possibly along the eastern coast. Hail is possible during thunderstorms. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale, and will gradually become strong—5 on the Beaufort scale—on the windward coasts or during thunderstorms. The sea will be slightly rough.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, but locally increased cloud cover will be observed in the western half of the island. During the early morning hours, light local fog may form in the eastern half of the island. Winds will blow mainly from the southwest to the northwest, initially moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, but gradually weakening to 2 to 3 Beaufort. The sea will become slightly choppy. Temperatures will drop to around 21 degrees in the interior and on the southwestern coast, around 23 degrees on the rest of the coast, and around 15 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow, the weather will start out mostly clear, but clouds developing around noon and in the afternoon are expected to bring isolated showers and thunderstorms to the mountains and inland areas. Winds will initially be variable and light, up to 3 Beaufort, before gradually shifting to mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly choppy. Temperatures will rise to around 35 degrees inland, around 30 on the western and southwestern coasts, around 32 degrees along the rest of the coast, and around 26 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the weather will be mostly clear.
Temperatures will rise significantly through Friday, remaining at the same levels on Saturday, which will be above average.
