The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and the Environment announces that today, Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., a fire broke out within the administrative boundaries of the community of Pseuda.
The fire was brought under complete control at 12:50 p.m., after burning an area of two decares of dry grass and agricultural crops.

Twelve members of the Forestry Department, along with four fire trucks, participated in the firefighting operation. The Fire Department also assisted in the firefighting operation with 3 personnel and 1 fire truck, two members of the Pseuda Community Council with one fire truck, and a private agricultural tractor. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
