A boat sank and was completely destroyed at Cape Greco due to the severe storm that has been battering the entire island of Cyprus over the past few hours.
According to a police report, a report was received shortly after 4:00 p.m. regarding the possible sinking of a boat located in the bay between Agioi Anargyroi and Konnos, at Cape Greco.

Police officers responded to the scene and helped the boat’s operator safely disembark onto land.

Due to the rough seas in the area, the boat struck the rocks and sank.

Two other boats are still anchored at the site, and a helicopter from the Air Operations Unit is attempting to rescue those on board those vessels.
