The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment announces that today, Monday, June 29, 2026, at 7:18 a.m., a fire broke out at the “Fragissa” in the community of Pera Oreini.

Thanks to the immediate response of the forest firefighting forces, the fire was brought under control at 07:43, before it could spread.
