The Department for the Social Integration of People with Disabilities (TKEAA) of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare, continuing to keep beneficiaries and the public informed about the gradual implementation of the Law on Social Participation, Inclusion, and Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities, Law No. 96(I)/2026, as well as the Decision of the Council of Ministers dated July 2, 2026, announces the following three benefits, which will be implemented through payments in August 2026. All three benefits are implemented through automated updates to the TKEA’s information system, without the need for an application or any action on the part of the beneficiaries.
The amounts will be deposited into the beneficiaries’ accounts on August 27, 2026.

- Increases to TKEA Allowances that have been incorporated into the Personal Assistance and Home Care Allowance for Persons with Disabilities:

- Lump-sum payment corresponding to the above increases, retroactive to January 1, 2026
The lump-sum amount ranges from €37.60 to €770 and depends on the amount of the increase in the monthly allowance, namely €37.60, €41.86, €40, €50, €90, or €110 for 7 months from January through July, or a shorter period, depending on whether the allowance was approved after January 1, 2026. Recipients of more than one allowance will receive a lump-sum payment for the retroactive increase in each of their allowances.
- Introduction of the Mobility Allowance for quadriplegics over the age of 65
629 quadriplegic individuals over the age of 65 who were not previously receiving the Mobility Allowance will begin receiving a Mobility Allowance of €200 per month, retroactive to July 1,July 1, 2026.
