Total petroleum product inventories at the end of July 2026 increased by 14.3% compared with the end of the previous month, according to data released Thursday by the Statistical Service.
In July 2026, total petroleum product sales reached 146,656 metric tons, marking a 1.3% increase compared with July 2025.
There was an increase in jet fuel supplies (3.2%), as well as in sales of heavy and light fuel oil (166.9% and 20.1%, respectively), LPG (7.3%), gasoline (6.2%), diesel (5.5%), and asphalt (4.4%).
Specifically, sales at gas stations increased by 5.9% to 66,187 metric tons.

Total petroleum product sales in July 2026 rose by 13.3% compared to June 2026.
For example, jet fuel supplies increased by 25.1%, as well as sales of diesel fuel (13.3%) and gasoline (10.4%), while fuel supplies to ships decreased (-25.9%).
During the period January–July 2026, total petroleum product sales rose by 1.2% compared to the same period the previous year.
