Cow's milk deliveries rose by 6.5% year-over-year in March 2026, despite the culling of animals due to foot-and-mouth disease, according to data released Wednesday by the Statistical Service.

Specifically, 30.94 thousand metric tons of cow’s milk were delivered in March, compared to 29.05 thousand metric tons in the same month of 2025.
Compared to February 2026, when 27.79 thousand metric tons of cow’s milk were delivered, March saw an increase of 11.33%.
Furthermore, the production of drinking milk from cow’s milk reached 4.64 thousand metric tons in March 2026, compared to 4.48 thousand metric tons in March 2025. In February 2026, production of milk for consumption was 4.25 thousand metric tons.
