The Grants and Benefits Service (YXE) of the Ministry of Finance (YO) announces that the deadline for submitting applications for state student financial aid for the 2025–2026 academic year has been extended from 10:00 a.m. today, June 25, 2026, until 2:00 p.m. on July 9, 2026.

During the application submission process, the Ministry of Education and Culture identified cases of incorrectly submitted applications, as detailed below:

(a) applications submitted with an incorrect Alien Registration Card (ARC) number,

(b) applications submitted by parents who listed their status as “student” instead of their correct status as “parent applicants,” and

(c) applications submitted by the students themselves, rather than by their parents, as required by the relevant legal provisions.

Consequently, in order to address the above cases and ensure the smooth completion of the required procedures, and to ensure that individuals who, for whatever reason, did not submit an application within the specified deadline, student families are requested to submit their applications electronically at https://sg-yxe.mof.gov.cy, in a timely manner and with accurate information.

Please note that applications cannot be submitted after the aforementioned deadline has passed.
