"The clear goal of the government’s economic policy is for economic growth to ‘translate into progress for society and citizens,’" stated the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, in a post on the X platform, citing a graph from the Statistical Service on employment and unemployment.
President Christodoulides adds that growth must “translate into more jobs, more opportunities, and greater security for every citizen and every family,” noting that “this is the essence of an economy that grows with stability and a sense of the future.”
The President of the Republic also states that the state of the labor market “confirms precisely this trajectory. More citizens in the workforce, more employment opportunities, and an economy that creates prospects and security across all sectors.”
“Above all, Cyprus,” President Christodoulides concludes in his post.
