ALPHA Cyprus presented its new programming lineup for the 2026–2027 television season, at a relaxed event held at Pralina Experience in Nicosia, attended by partners and industry representatives.
In a pleasant and creative atmosphere, advertising agencies and the business community had the opportunity to learn about the new season’s lineup, exchange views, and discuss the revamped programming, while reaffirming the strong relationships of cooperation and trust that have been built over the years.

With a rich lineup, ALPHA Cyprus is entering its 11th television season, featuring beloved series and shows that continue their successful run, as well as new productions that aim to capture the interest of television audiences.
News remains at the center as a voice of reason, delivered with responsibility, accuracy, and immediacy. Entertainment retains its unique role, with programming for all times of day and moods, while drama returns with stories, characters, and plot twists that will captivate the audience.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of ALPHA Cyprus, Mr. George Theodotou, referring to the station’s trajectory, stated:

For his part, the CEO of ALPHA Cyprus, Mr. Petros Petrou, noted:
“As far as the programming is concerned, what I want you to take away above all is that we remain true to our philosophy: reliable news, quality fiction, and entertainment tailored to diverse audiences. We do not view ourselves merely as a rebroadcaster of content from the Greek market. On the contrary, we believe in local production, invest in it, and support Cypriot creators. And I believe the results of this strategy prove us right.”
At the same time, on the occasion of the new program’s launch, Mr. Petrou reflected on ALPHA Cyprus’s ten-year journey and its dynamic growth, which has made it one of the largest media groups in Cyprus today, with a presence—beyond television— radio, online media, print, as well as the production of podcasts and theatrical performances.
