One of the darkest and most controversial stories linking Cyprus to the British underworld is back in the spotlight in the new Netflix series, “Legends.”
The series premiered in 2026 and transports viewers to Britain in the early ’90s, when a small team of HM Customs and Excise agents was recruited for a top-secret mission: to create fake identities—so-called “legends”— and infiltrate dangerous drug trafficking networks. Netflix confirms that the series is inspired by real events and the covert operations of that era.
