Tomorrow, Saturday, October 3, Nicosia will be filled with pink figures, sending a powerful message of awareness, prevention, early diagnosis, and advocacy.
The 22nd Pink Figures Walk organized by Europa Donna Cyprus will take place at 5 p.m., starting at the Old GSP Stadium and ending at the headquarters of Alpha Bank Cyprus, which is supporting the event as a Strategic Partner for the second year in a row.
The CEO of Alpha Bank Cyprus, Miltos Michaelas, conveyed the message that behind every pink figure there is a real person and a real story.
Mr. Michaelas emphasized the importance of awareness, prevention, early diagnosis, and compassionate care, noting that for Alpha Bank Cyprus, supporting this effort is a conscious and ongoing choice.
For the second year in a row, the Bank stands alongside Europa Donna as a Strategic Partner of the Walk, with the goal, as the CEO stated, of making a meaningful contribution to the cause and inspiring its own employees.
1,365 participants. 1,365 stories.
The march will begin at the Old GSP Stadium and end at the headquarters of Alpha Bank Cyprus, where the figurines will be symbolically placed.
840 pink figures symbolize the new cases of breast cancer in women recorded in Cyprus in 2025.
6 blue figurines symbolize new cases of breast cancer in men.
220 turquoise figures represent new cases of gynecological cancer.
And 299 white figures represent the people who passed away in 2025.
Europa Donna Cyprus calls on everyone to walk for the changes that have already taken place, but especially for the changes that still need to happen.
For accurate information.
For early diagnosis.
For specialized and high-quality care.
Tomorrow at 5 p.m., meet at the Old GSP.
Knowledge that supports. Care that embraces.
