Elena Paparizou revealed a personal story she had never shared publicly before in her interview with Natalia Germanou, on the occasion of the release of her new song.

The beloved singer took a trip down memory lane to the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, when she won first place for Greece with “My Number One,” and described an incident that, as she admitted, had infuriated her father.

During the discussion, Natalia Germanou commented that, unlike Greece’s current representatives at Eurovision, the Greek delegation back then hadn’t been the target of such intense attacks.
