The nominations for the 2026 Emmys were announced yesterday, Wednesday, July 8.

The nominations were announced by Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) and Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere), both of whom won Emmys last year.

“Hacks” set a record as the comedy series with the most nominations. Specifically, it earned 24 nominations. Until now, the record was shared by “The Studio” and “The Bear,” with 23 nominations each in 2025 and 2024, respectively.

However, the drama series “The Pitt” is leading the race, with 25 nominations.
