The conversation inevitably touched on the subject of his age, with Yiannis Parios making it clear that he does not believe age is a reason for an artist to stop performing in front of an audience.
“I’ll put it bluntly: that’s what hurts them the most. Not my age. An artist isn’t a civil servant who gets a pension. An artist doesn’t get a pension.”
