The news of the death of Giorgos Mazonakis has caused great sadness in the artistic community and among the public; who passed away at the age of 54, leaving behind a long and truly remarkable career in Greek music.

Today, on the evening of Wednesday, September 9, Greece’s Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, announced in a post on X announced that an investigation has already begun into the clinic in Kolonaki, where the Greek singer was located before being transported by an EKAB ambulance to the hospital.
