Following the funeral service and burial of Giorgos Mazonakis at the Third Cemetery of Athens, his family gathered for the traditional meal that follows the funeral, on one of the most difficult days of their lives.
According to photos published by ESPRESSO, the artist’s parents, sisters, and close relatives headed to the well-known fish tavern “Psarades” in Palaio Faliro, where they gathered around a table and ate fish soup, following tradition.
