Let’s meet the series’ main characters:
Marina (Danae Pappa) is a beautiful and kind-hearted woman who loved Nikos, and together they built a wonderful family. His sudden death leaves her alone to raise their two children. She faces daily challenges, but she is determined not to give in. She knows how to forgive, but she never forgets betrayal.
Nikos (Vasilis Magouliotis) is a skipper. He is hardworking and self-made, aspiring to own his own boat so he can organize excursions. Marina is his whole world—the woman who gave meaning to his life. His family has abandoned him, which is why he feels blessed to have been able to build a family of his own. Unfortunately, he loses his life in an unexpected way.
Elizabeth (Elizabeth Moutafi), Marina’s mother, is a beautiful woman who was introduced to the world of fashion at a young age. Her marriage to Marina’s father ended badly, and she considered her daughter’s decision to stay with her father a betrayal. She married Kostis and had another daughter. She works as the manager of the beauty department at a large hotel.
Kostis (Christos Hatzipanagiotis), a kind-hearted and patient man, a former star of haute couture, is struggling to get back on his feet after the heart attack that brought him to his knees and now runs a neighborhood tailor shop. He fell in love with Elizabeth and feels lucky to have her in his life. He considers family sacred and is trying to reconcile his wife and daughter with Marina and her children.
Eva (Danae Vasilopoulou), Marina’s half-sister, is a photography student with a severely troubled psyche that isolates her. She is selfish and competitive and sees her sister as an obstacle. She envies her sister’s happiness and keeps secrets even from her overprotective mother.
Yiannis (Thanos Lekkas), a charming man and well-known lawyer, is married and has a son. He never talks about his roots; he knows how to win people over and persuade them, and that is his strength. For him, money and a comfortable life are the only way forward. He falls in love with Marina, but his dark side is soon revealed.
Markos (Giorgos Triantafyllidis) is a serious, taciturn, and down-to-earth guy who’s connected to the underworld because of his father, Argyris. He’d like to build a better life for himself, but he can’t escape his small world. He falls in love with Marina and is ready to sacrifice himself for her sake.
Argyris (Ilias Valasis) is the neighborhood bully; everyone fears him. He operates on the fringes of the law and runs a bar as a front. He lives with Betty, who is expected to serve him. He becomes furious with Markos for supporting Marina.
Betty (Nikoleta Karra) is a beautiful woman who constantly falls victim to the men she loves. She used to perform at folk dance halls, but now she drinks heavily and has lost her voice. It will take Marina a while to trust her, but when she does, their bond will prove genuine.
Eleni (Christina Marianou) is a simple woman from the working class who works alongside Marina. She is divorced and the mother of two children, and her ideal is a quiet life and a faithful partner—whom she never finds.
Kyriakos (Giorgos Zygooris) is an idealistic doctor with a solitary disposition. He believes strongly in friendship, and when he meets Marina, they form a true friendship. She even entrusts him with her very life.
