1. Organizer

The Contest is organized by LIMA COMMUNICATION LIMITED, which operates the Alpha Radio station (the “Organizer”). The Contest is associated with the radio show “Couple Trouble” hosted by Louie Patsalides and Asterou Kyprianou (hereinafter: “The Show”).

By participating in the Contest, each Participant (as defined below) expressly and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that they comply with these terms and conditions (the “Rules”). Participants who do not comply with these Rules will not be eligible to win the “Prize” (as defined below).

1. Organizer

The Contest is organized by LIMA COMMUNICATION LIMITED, which operates the Alpha Radio station (the “Organizer”). The contest is associated with the show “Couple Trouble” hosted by Louie Patsalides and Astero Kyprianou (hereinafter “The Show”).

2. Eligibility

2.1 Only natural persons who are permanent residents of Cyprus, are at least 18 years of age, and have full legal capacity are eligible to participate (the “Participant”).

2.2 Executives, members, partners, employees, representatives, and consultants of the Organizer, as well as the spouses, partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners, or associates of the aforementioned individuals, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

2.3 The Contest begins on September 7, 2026, and ends on December 31, 2026 (“Contest Period”). All Entries (as defined below) received after the end of the Contest Period will be automatically disqualified.

3. The Contest. Procedure and Rules

3.1. The Participant takes part in a trivia game consisting of 5 questions, with the chance to win up to €1,000 credited to their card, in accordance with the game’s rules. The Participant can win: €0, €60, €120, or up to €1,000.

3.2. Participant Selection: A participant is selected by random drawing and appears live on the air via telephone. The game consists of 5 trivia questions.

PHASE 1 – QUESTIONS 1 through 3 The first 3 questions are general knowledge questions. Each correct answer is worth €20. 1st correct → €20; 2nd correct → €40; 3rd correct → €60. If the participant answers any of the first 3 questions incorrectly: They lose all the money. The game ends immediately if the participant answers all three of the first questions correctly: They win and lock in €60. This amount cannot be lost.

PHASE 2 – RISK (QUESTIONS 4 & 5) After the third question, the Participant chooses: To stop and take the €60 OR to continue for more money.

For the 4th and 5th questions, the Participant chooses a category from the following: Sports, Geography, History, Movies, Science.

 4th QUESTION: If the contestant answers correctly: They win an additional €60 (for a total of €120) After the 4th question, the participant has two options: Stop and take the €120, or take a chance on the 5th question. If the participant answers incorrectly: Loses the extra money; keeps only the €60

5th QUESTION (if they choose to play): Correct answer → wins an additional €80 (total €200) Incorrect answer → loses the extra money and keeps only the €60

The contestant has 5 seconds to answer each question.

If the time runs out without an answer: The answer is considered incorrect.

 FINAL RESULT: The participant can win: €0 (if they lose on the first 3 questions), €60 (if they quit early or lose after taking the risk), €120 (if they stop after the 4th question), and €1,000 (if they answer all 5 questions correctly). The player’s decisions at each stage of the process are final and cannot be changed.

4. How to Participate and Terms and Conditions

4.1 Listeners who wish to participate must, exclusively during the broadcast of the audio segment, send a message via Viber to the number 97-000100 with the following text: “€1,000  – First Name and Last Name.”

Only entries sent at the time the audio message inviting listeners to participate is played will be considered valid. No other method of participation is accepted.

4.2 The listener will be selected by random drawing. All valid entries are added to a list for the next drawing, which will take place every Tuesday or on another day to be announced in advance to listeners during the program’s broadcast hours. One lucky listener is selected via a drawing and invited to participate live in the game.

The selected Participant is contacted by phone by Alpha Radio. If they do not answer or are unavailable at the time of the call, a new drawing is held.

4.3 After the contest ends or on another date to be determined by the Organizer, one (1) winner of the Contest (the “Winner” or the “Winners”) will be selected by random drawing conducted by or on behalf of the Organizer from among all Entries submitted during the Contest Period.

4.4 By participating, listeners fully accept the terms and conditions of the contest, as well as the live broadcast of their participation on the air.

5. Prize

5.1 Participants may win between €0 and €100 loaded onto a prepaid card, in accordance with the game rules as set forth in Section 3 above.  

5.2 The cash prize will be paid at a time determined by the station, following contact with the winner.

5. Gift Terms

5.2 The amount is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for any other amount, service, or good.

5.3 To claim the prize, the Winner must present a valid ID. This identification may be provided upon receipt of the prize. 

6. Notification of Winners

6.1 The Organizer will contact the Winner as soon as possible after the announcement of the winner’s name and will inform the Winner of the procedure for claiming the prize at a time and date to be determined by the Organizer.

7. Validity of Entries

Incomplete, incorrect, or untrue submission of Participants’ information entitles the Organizer to cancel their Participation in the Contest. Entries that use offensive or inappropriate language will be automatically disqualified.

8. Post-Contest Promotion

By accepting the Prize, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Winners grant the Organizer permission to publish their names, photographs, biographical information, and statements regarding the Contest, the Organizer, and/or its products, without further compensation, for advertising and/or promotional purposes, and the Winners grant all their rights to the Organizer regarding the processing, modification, publication, and copyright registration of the aforementioned materials.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 The Organizer bears no liability for compensation to the Winners or for any loss, damage, or physical or other harm arising as a result of the use of the Prize Amount.

11. Copyright

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each Participant hereby grants to the Organizer and to all members of the Organizer’s corporate group and to any other party involved in the conduct of the Contest, a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully assignable, worldwide, and fully sublicensable license to use the Entry for commercial and promotional purposes in any form and through any medium, including, without limitation, any reproduction and/or broadcast of the Entry on the internet and/or on television, at the Organizer’s sole discretion. 

12. Personal Data

By participating in the Contest, Participants agree that the personal data they provide through their Entry in the Contest may be collected,  processed, stored, or used by the Organizer for the purposes of conducting the Contest.

13. Other Terms

13.1 If any provision of these Rules is found to be contrary to law, it shall automatically cease to be in effect, without in any way affecting the validity of the remaining Rules. 

13.2 If it is determined that any Participant has violated these Rules, the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, disqualify such Participant from participating in the Contest. 

13.3 The Organizer reserves the right to modify and/or cancel the Contest and/or change its dates and/or any other terms thereof. The Organizer may also suspend or cancel the Contest without notice for any reason. In such cases, the Organizer bears no liability toward the Participants. In the event of the Contest’s cancellation, Participants shall not acquire any right, claim, or demand against the Organizer, nor are they entitled to request the continuation of the Contest or any compensation due to any change thereto. 

13.4 These terms are governed by Cypriot law, and any dispute relating to the Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
