The well-known Greek actor, Petros Filippidis, as the court began hearing his appeal against the conviction handed down by the Athens Mixed Jury Court of Appeals.
By his side once again was his wife, Elpida Ninou, who has supported him throughout his legal ordeal and has never missed any of the case’s key moments.

The actor and director is appealing to the Supreme Court, seeking to overturn the Court of Appeals’ decision, in which he was unanimously found guilty of two counts of attempted rape. The ruling did not recognize any mitigating circumstances in his case.
