Poly Grigora: Who Is Cyprus’s New Mental Health Ambassador?

Polly Grigora is taking on a new role of particular social significance; she has been appointed Mental Health Ambassador for a two-year term by the Minister of Health, Neophytos Charalambides.

Her appointment was announced on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, as part of the creation of a new institution that aims to give greater prominence to lived experience, public awareness, and the fight against the stigma that continues to surround mental health issues.
