The new drama series “The Daughters of Areti” premieres Monday, October 12, and airs every Monday through Thursday at 9:00 p.m. on ALPHA Cyprus. A story about a mother’s love, ambition, and the choices that shape our lives. Filled with intense emotions, strong characters, great loves, and twists that test the limits of family, love, and human resilience, the series is sure to captivate us.
At the center of the story is Areti. A widow who grew up in poverty and is determined to provide her two daughters with the life she herself was deprived of. Her younger daughter, Anna, is beautiful, sensitive, and a dreamer, while the older one, Natalia, is dynamic, independent, and rebellious; she refuses to follow the path others have laid out for her.
Their lives change when they come into contact with the Kechagias family, one of the most powerful and wealthy families in the city. Behind the facade of power and success, the strict father, Leonidas Kechagias, and his four children harbor secrets, unfulfilled desires, and deep family rifts.
As the two families come together, two different worlds collide. Ambition, love, class tensions, and hidden secrets will put everyone’s relationships to the test.
